After a period of 17 years the BCO Annual Conference 2010 returned to London for Capital Recovery. This conference focused on rejuvenation, reinvigoration and renaissance, but not without learning and adapting from the events of the past 24 months.
The three day conference contained a mixture of plenary sessions, thought provoking research seminars and our new style "Seminars on Tour" which combined tours of innovative and exceptional buildings with on-site seminars from a dynamic selection of world class professionals.
A full programme provided opportunities for all delegates, whether a Londoner of many years or an occasional visitor to the city, to learn, discover or experience seomthing entirely new at London 2010.

Committed to Sustainable Events
The BCO is committed to reducing the carbon footprint of our events. In 2010 the BCO Annual Conference took the following actions.
- 176 tonnes of CO2 emissions were offset with projects from the Carbon Neutral Company. View our event certificate here.
- All left over delegate bags were sent to Mary's Meals. This charity, which provides daily meals in African schools, sent all bags to projects in Libya and Malawi to be used by students.
