The BCO Golf Cup will take place at Stockport Golf Club, Cheshire. Founded in 1905 Stockport Golf Club is a hidden gem in the Cheshire countryside. Although situated less than three miles from Stockport town centre, the golf course has some wonderful views of the Peak District. The bunkering throughout the course and the approaches to the greens were redesigned by Hawtrees in 2000, making it a challenging Regional Qualifying course for the Open Championship. The day will start with breakfast available from 0900, followed by a 1st tee start from 0930. The competition will be played in four balls for best individual Stableford for the Cup, a team best ball and the normal closest to the pin and longest drive options. The day will conclude with a two course sit down lunch and prize-giving, leaving enough time to travel back by coach into Manchester for the opening reception at the Town Hall. Commemorative shirts are included, so please provide your required size on the booking form. Bookings open in January 2012. |  |
